✅Short Description
Online applications are invited from eligible candidates who are permanent residents of Assam for the Pre-Entry Test (PET)-2025. The test is conducted for admission into the two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) programme for the academic session 2025–2027. The course will be offered at NCTE-recognized Teacher Education Institutes (DIETs, CTEs, Normal Schools, BTCs, and Private TEIs) across the state.

📗Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have passed Higher Secondary (HS) [10+2] from a recognized Board/Council with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks, excluding marks obtained in optional/extra/fourth subjects.
👼Age Limit:-
Candidates Minimum 18 years old and Maximum 34 years as of 1st July, 2025. However, candidates belonging to SC, ST(P), and ST(H) categories will receive a relaxation of 2 years in the upper age limit.
👉Reservation:
Seats will be reserved for candidates belonging to reserved categories such as OBC/MOBC, SC, ST(P), ST(H), Persons with Disabilities (PWD), and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) in accordance with the prevailing Reservation Policy.
☑✒Application Fee:
An application fee of Rs. 600/- The fee must be paid online using Internet Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, or other available online payment methods at the time of submitting the application form.
✒Venue for Pre-Entry Test (PET)-2025:
The venue for the Pre-Entry Test will be assigned in the district selected by the candidates during the application online process. This assigned venue will be mentioned on the candidate’s Admit Card. Upon selection, candidates will be allotted seats in the Teacher Education Institutes (TEIs) located in the same district where they chose to appear for the PET-2025.
