Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has announced a recruitment notification for 20 Grade IV vacancies under its establishment. Eligible candidates can submit their applications online.

Scale of pay: Pay Band 1 with Pay Scale: Rs 12000 to 52000, Grade Pay: Rs 3900
Educational Qualification: The educational qualification shall be minimum Class VIII passed and maximum HSSLC/ Class 12 or equivalent examination passed. Candidates with higher educational qualification are not eligible to apply.
Eligibility criteria for APSC Recruitment 2025
Citizenship: Candidates must be Indian Citizens as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.
Residentship:
(i) The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.
(ii) The candidate must produce PRC issued in Assam for educational purpose/ Employment Exchange Registration certificate as proof of residency along with the online application form.
Age Limit: The candidates should not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 40 years of age as on 01/01/2025.
Age Relaxation: The category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below.
# SC: 5 years
# ST: 5 years
# OBC/ MOBC: 3 years
# PwBD: 10 years
Employment Exchange Registration: Candidates must be registered themselves in any of the employment exchanges of Assam.
Small Family Norms: The candidates have to submit a declaration regarding “The Small Family Norms” in Form-A at the time of applying for the post.
