Canara Bank has announced a recruitment notification for 3500 Graduate Apprentice positions under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 for the financial year 2024-25. Eligible and interested candidates can submit their applications online.

Post Name: Graduate Apprentice
Total Vacancies: 3500 positions
Vacancies in Assam: 42 positions
Training Duration: Apprenticeship training will be for a period of 1 year.
Stipend: Apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of ₹15,000/- (inclusive of any subsidy provided by the Government of India) during the training period.
Eligibility Criteria of Canara Bank Recruitment.
Age Limit: Candidates must be at least 20 years old and not more than 28 years old as on the cut-off date. Applicants should have been born between 01.09.1997 and 01.09.2005 (inclusive of both dates).
Age Relaxation: The category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below.
SC/ ST: 5 years
OBC: 3 years
PwBD: 10 years
Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a university recognized by the Government of India, or possess an equivalent qualification approved by the Central Government.
Candidates must have passed their Graduation not earlier than 01.01.2022 and not later than 01.09.2025 (both days inclusive).
Test of Local Language:
➤Candidates who can provide a 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/certificate showing that they have studied the chosen local language will be exempted from the language test.
➤For all other applicants, a local language proficiency test will be held during the document verification stage by the Bank.
➤Candidates who do not pass this test will not be considered for engagement as apprentices.

Physical/Medical Fitness: The appointment of selected apprentices will be confirmed only if they are declared medically fit as per the Bank’s standards.
