IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2025:- Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Refineries Division has issued multiple employment notifications for the recruitment of 2,756 Technician and Trade Apprentice vacancies in both Technical and Non-Technical trades across various refineries in the country. Interested and eligible candidates may apply online through the official portal.

Stipend: Rate of stipend payable to apprentices per month shall be as prescribed under Apprentices Act, 1961/1973/ Apprentices Rules 1992 (as amended) and Corporation’s guidelines.
Period of Apprenticeship Training: 12 to 24 Months
Eligibility Criteria of IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2025
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum age shall be 24 years as on 30-11-2025 for General/EWS candidates. Relaxation of upper age limit to SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD candidates shall be extended as per Govt. guidelines.
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC/ MOBC: 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years
- PwBD-OBC (NCL): 13 years
- PwBD-SC/ST: 15 years
Educational Qualification:
Trade Apprentice - Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant): 3 years B.Sc (Maths, Physics, Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry)
Trade Apprentice (Fitter): Matric with ITI in Fitter Trade of minimum 2 years duration with Pass class.
Trade Apprentice (Boiler): 3 years B Sc. (Maths, Physics, Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry).
Technician Apprentice Discipline - Chemical: 3 years Diploma in Chemical Engg./Petrochemical Engg./Chemical Technology / Refinery and Petrochemical Engg.
Technician Apprentice Discipline - Mechanical: 3 years Diploma in Mechanical Engg.
Technician Apprentice Discipline - Electrical: 3 years Diploma in Electrical Engg. / Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
Technician Apprentice Discipline- Instrumentation: 3 years Diploma in Instrumentation Engg/ Instrumentation & Electronics/ Instrumentation & Control Engg, / Applied Electronics and Instrumentation

How to Apply for IOCL Recruitment 2025?
STEP 1: Registration in Apprenticeship Portals
Candidates must first register online as a Technician/Trade Apprentice in the respective portals based on their trade:
a) Trade Apprentice – ITI/Data Entry Operator: Register at
https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in/
b) Technician Apprentice – Diploma: Register at
https://nats.education.gov.in/student_register.php
After registration, candidates should go to the “Apprenticeship Opportunities” section, select the location as per IOCL, and choose the relevant trade.
The portal will then prompt applicants to log in and complete the registration using basic details. Follow all instructions carefully to finish the process.
Candidates must ensure that all information entered is accurate and verified before final submission.
STEP 2: Apply in IOCL Portal
After submitting an application on the respective NAPS/NATS portal, candidates must MANDATORILY complete the application for apprentice positions on the IOCL Refineries Division portal at:
www.iocrefrecruit.in
During this step, applicants must also select their preferred Refinery unit from the options provided in the application menu.
