1. Chauffeur/ Driver
No of posts: 3 UR
Educational Qualification:
- Class X/ HSLC passed.
- Valid LMV driving license.
2. Multi Tasking Staff
No of posts: 26 [UR: 5, OBC/ MOBC: 12, STP: 7, STH: 2]
Educational Qualification: Minimum VIII passed, but not XII
passed.
3. Judicial Assistant
No of posts: 8 [UR: 7, STP: 1]
Educational Qualification:
- Must be a Graduate.
- Must have working knowledge of Computer.
4. Computer Assistant
No of posts: 2 [OBC/ MOBC: 2]
Educational Qualification:
- Must be a Graduate.
- Must have diploma/ certificate in computer operation/ application of at least 6 month duration.
Other Criteria of Gauhati High Court Recruitment 2026
Citizenship: Candidates must be a citizen of India as
defined under Article 5 and 6 of the Constitution of India.
Age Limit: Candidate’s age must be maximum 40 years as on
last date of application.
Age Relaxation: Category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned
below.

- SC: 5 years
- STP/ STH: 5 years
- PwBD: 10 years
Employment Exchange Registration: Must possess a valid
Registration number of Employment Exchange for the State of Assam.
