The Indian Army has officially released the notification for Agniveer Recruitment 2026 under the Agnipath Scheme across the country. Recruitment for Agniveer posts will be conducted through a Common Entrance Exam (CEE).
The online registration process will begin on 13th February 2026 and will remain open until 1st April 2026.
Separate notifications have been issued by various Army Recruiting Offices (AROs). Interested and eligible candidates who wish to serve in the Indian Army as soldiers can submit their applications online within the specified dates.

Eligibility Criteria of Indian Army Recruitment 2026
1. Agniveer (General Duty)
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed class
10th examination with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject.
Note: Candidates with valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV)
Driving Licenses will be given preference for Driver requirements.
2. Agniveer (Technical)
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed class
12th examination in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English
with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject.
3. Agniveer Clerk/ Store Keeper (Technical)
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed class 12th examination in any stream with 60% marks in aggregate and 50% in each subject. English and Maths/ Accounts/ Book Keeping in Class XII is mandatory.
4. Agniveer Tradesmen 10th Pass
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed class
10th examination with having 33% marks in each subject.
5. Agniveer Tradesmen 8th Pass
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed class
8th examination with having 33% marks in each subject.
Age Limit: The age of the candidate should not be less than 17 years 6 months and not more than 21 years.
Application Fee: An amount of ₹250 is to be paid as the examination fee through Net Banking, Credit/Debit Card, or UPI Payment.
