1. Graduate Teacher (Mathematics)

Essential Qualification:
(i) Passed Bachelor's Degree with Major/Honours in
Mathematics with minimum 45% marks from a Government recognized University/
Institute. Must have Physics and Chemistry as core/pass subject in Graduation.
(ii) Passed Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from National
Council for Teacher Education recognized Institution(s).
(iii) Must have passed Class 10 with Assamese as
MIL or Elective subject and must be capable of teaching in both Assamese and
English medium. 1. Graduate Teacher (Mathematics)

(i) Passed Bachelor's Degree with Major/Honours in
Mathematics with minimum 45% marks from a Government recognized University/

Council for Teacher Education recognized Institution(s).

2. Graduate Teacher (English)

Essential Qualification:
(i) Passed Bachelor's Degree with Major/Honours in English
with minimum 45% marks from a Government recognized University/ Institute.
(ii) Passed Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from National
Council for Teacher Education recognized Institution(s).
(iii) Must be capable of teaching in and have understanding
of all the three languages viz. Assamese, Hindi and English medium.
3. Graduate Teacher (Hindi)

Essential Qualification:
(i) Passed Bachelor's Degree with Major/Honours in Hindi with
minimum 45% marks from a Government recognized University/ Institute. Must have
Political Science or Geography or History or Economics or Education as
core/pass subject in Graduation.
(ii) Passed Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from National
Council for Teacher Education recognized Institution(s).
(iii) Must have passed Class 10 with Hindi as MIL or Elective
subject and must be capable of teaching in and have understanding of all the
three languages viz. Assamese, Hindi and English medium.
4. Graduate Teacher (Assamese)

(i) Passed Bachelor's Degree with Major/Honours in Assamese

20. Instructor (Chemical)

Essential Qualification:
(i) Passed Class 10 from a Government recognized Board.
(ii) Passed 03 (three) years Diploma in Chemical Engineering
from a Government recognized University/Board/Institute.
(iii) Must have minimum 05 (five) years post qualification
full time work experience in different mines of oil and gas fields in State/
Central Government Organizations/ PSUs/ Private Sector Organization.
21. Instructor (Petroleum)

Essential Qualification:
(i) Passed Class 10 from a Government recognized Board.
(ii) Passed 03 (three) years Diploma in Petroleum Engineering
from a Government recognized University/Board/Institute.
(iii) Must have minimum 05 (five) years post qualification
full time work experience in different mines of oil and gas fields in State/
Central Government Organizations/ PSUs/ Private Sector Organization.
Age Limit: Upper age limit for general category candidates as
on 07/03/2026 is as mentioned below.
- Graduate Teacher/ Librarian: 30 years
- Post Graduate Teacher: 32 years
- Instructor: 35 years
