The Department of Panchayat & Rural Development (PNRD), Assam has officially announced its 2026 recruitment notification. Applications are invited for the contractual positions of Accounts Officer and IT Assistant under the Vikshit Bharat Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin).
PNRD Assam Recruitment 2026
No. of Posts: 01
Monthly Salary: ₹38,000/- plus other
admissible allowances.
Educational Qualification:
- A Master’s Degree in Commerce (M.Com) or MBA (Finance) from a recognized university with at least 60% marks.
- Mandatory Diploma in Computer Applications (DCA) of minimum 1-year duration.
- Must have expert-level knowledge of accounts keeping using the latest version of Tally.
Experience: A minimum of 3 years
of relevant work experience in accounting and financial management.
Note: Candidates with degrees obtained through Distance Education (UGC/AICTE/DEC approved) are also eligible to apply.
2. IT Assistant
No. of Posts: 01
Monthly Salary: ₹30,000/- plus
other admissible allowances.
Educational Qualification:
- BCA / B.Sc (Computer Science) / B.Sc (IT) from a recognized institution.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of
experience in any Public or Private sector organization.
Language Skills: Since the role involves coordination with the Ministry of Rural Development, Govt. of India, fluency in English and Hindi (spoken and written) is mandatory, in addition to the Assamese language.
Selection Process
Candidates will be shortlisted based on their academic qualifications and experience. Shortlisted applicants will receive an intimation via email regarding the date, time, and venue of the selection process.

After submitting the form,

proof, educational certificates, experience certificates, etc.) and email them
