Name of Post:- Specialist Officer (DGM, AGM, Manager, Junior Assistant Manager – Security Officer)
No of Post:- 33
Educational Qualification & Experience:
1. Audit – Information System (IS) (Grade C): B.Tech/BE in IT/Electronics & Communications/Software Engineering/Electronics & Electrical/Electronics/Computer Science/Digital Banking or BCA/B.Sc (IT/Computer Science) or Graduate in any stream with valid CISA, or M.Sc (IT/Computer Science)/MCA/M.Tech/M.E in relevant disciplines from a recognised University, with minimum 7 years officeScience/IT/ICT/Electronics & Communications/Electrical/Electronics & Electrical or BCA/B.Sc (Ir-level experience in BFSI/IT/Information Security consultancy, out of which 4 years in IS Audit/Cyber Security Audit/Information Security consultancy.
2. Risk Management – Information Security (Grade C & B): B.E./B.Tech in Computer T/Computer Science) or MCA/M.Sc (IT/Computer Science) from a recognised University. Grade C: minimum 7 years experience (4 years in Information Security/Cyber Security); Grade B: minimum 4 years experience (2 years in Information Security/Cyber Security) in IT/BFSI/FinTech/Corporate entity in IT/Information Security/Cyber Security.
3. IT & MIS (Grade D/C/B): Graduate in Computer Science/IT/Electronics/Electronics & Communications/Electronics & Telecommunications/Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning/Cloud Computing/Data Science/Data Engineering or akin disciplines, or MCA/equivalent from a recognised University, with preference for candidates with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD) and relevant certifications like OCP, Data Analytics, SAS, Python, Project Management, Digital Banking, IT Security, Network etc. Grade D: minimum 10 years experience (7 years in relevant functional area) at middle management level; Grade C: minimum 7 years officer-level experience (4 years in relevant area); Grade B: minimum 4 years officer-level experience (2 years in relevant area) in BFSI/FinTech/Large IT Services organisations.
4.Security Officer – Junior Assistant Manager (Grade O): XII/Diploma pass or equivalent from recognised institutes, basic computer proficiency desirable, with minimum 15 years regular service as a Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) in Indian Army/Indian Navy/Indian Air Force and exemplary character at the time of retirement as recorded in discharge book.
Salary for IDBI Bank Specialist Officer Post
1. Deputy General Manager, Grade ‘D’: 102300-2980(4)- 114220-3360(2)- 120940 (7 years) Gross emolument for metro cities will be ₹197000/- per month (approx.)
2. Assistant General Manager, Grade
‘C’: 85920-2680(5)-99320-2980(2)-105280 (8 years) Gross emolument for metro
cities will be ₹164000/- per month (approx.)
3. Manager – Grade ‘B’:
64820-2340(1)-67160-2680 (10)-93960 (12 years) Gross emolument for metro cities

4. Junior Assistant Manager– Grade ’O’: Cost to Company (CTC) basis would range between ₹6.14 lakh to ₹6.50 lakh (Class A city) at the time of joining. Annual increment shall be granted based on performance or any other parameters as decided by the Bank from time to time.
Age Limit for IDBI Bank Specialist Officer
- DGM: 35 – 45 years
- AGM: 28 – 40 years
- Manager: 25 – 35 years
- JAM (Security Officer): Up to 50 years
