The Panchayat & Rural Development Recruitment 2026 notification has been officially released by the Office of the
Commissioner, Panchayat & Rural Development (CPRD), Government of Assam. The department has invited online applications from
eligible and experienced candidates for the recruitment of State Programme
Executive (Finance, Accounts & Procurement) under PMAY-G.

1. State
Programme Executive (Finance, Accounts & Procurement)
Number of
Posts: 01
Educational Qualification: Candidates applying for the State Programme Executive post must meet the following educational requirements.
- Master of Commerce (M.Com)
- OR
- MBA with specialization in Finance
- The degree must be obtained from a recognized university or institution with minimum 60% marks.
- Distance education degrees are also acceptable provided they are approved by DEC, UGC, or AICTE.
Experience
Requirement
Candidates must also have relevant professional experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, accounts, or procurement related fields.
- Experience in government projects, development programs, or financial management systems will be considered an added advantage.
- Computer Skills Requirement
- Candidates must possess strong computer knowledge and technical skills.
Required Skills
- Diploma in Computer Applications (minimum one year duration)
- Knowledge of Tally accounting software (latest version)
- Experience in account management and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint will also be beneficial.
