The Publication Board, Assam has issued an employment notification inviting applications for the recruitment of 2 posts for Accounts Assistant and Driver. Interested and eligible candidates can apply through the appropriate channel.

1. Accounts Assistant
No of posts: 1
Educational Qualification: The candidate must be commerce graduate having minimum 50% of marks and must have diploma in Computer from Govt. recognised institutions.
Experience: Minimum 02 years working experience in any Govt/Private organization in the field of Accounts. He/ She must have knowledge in Tally PRIME and Excel. CA (Inter) will get 20 marks extra.
Age Limit: Maximum age is 40 years as on 01-01-2026.
Relaxation of upper age shall be considered as per norms of Assam Government.
Remuneration: Rs. 28,500/- per month with minimum @5% of annual enhancement of salary.
2. Driver
No of posts: 1
Educational & Professional Qualification: The candidate
must pass HSLC or equivalent examination from recognised Board and Driving
License for driving Light Motor Vehicle issued by the competent authority under
the Government of Assam.
Experience: Minimum 05 years’ experience in any
Govt/Board/Corporation etc. under the Government of Assam.
Age Limit: Maximum age is 40 years as on 01-01-2026.
Relaxation of upper age shall be considered as per norms of Assam Government.
Remuneration: Rs. 21,500/- per month with minimum @ 5% of
annual enhancement of salary.
Application Fee:
Accounts Assistant: Rs. 300/- (Rupees Three hundred)
Driver: Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two hundred)
Mode of payment: To be deposited in favour of the Secretary, Publication Board Assam through demand draft of any nationalized Bank payable at Guwahati.
How to Apply for Publication Board Assam Recruitment 2026 ?
1.Accounts Assistant:
The candidate shall submit his/her application through
Post/Courier to “SECRETARY, PUBLICATION BOARD ASSAM, BAMUNIMAIDAM, GUWAHATI,
ASSAM, PIN:781021” and also ensure that the application is received in this
office on or before 27.03.2026 along with the following self-attested copies of
documents and superscribed envelope as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ACCOUNT
ASSISTANT”
(a) Pass certificate of HSLC or Matriculation Examination.
(b) Mark-sheet and pass certificate of HSSLC Examination;
(c) Mark-sheet and pass certificate of B.Com Examination;
(d) Mark-sheet and pass certificate of CA(Inter)
Examination;
(e) Experience certificate from present employer;
(f) Copy of demand draft showing deposit of application fee.
2.Driver:
The candidate shall submit his/her application through Post/Courier to “SECRETARY,
PUBLICATION BOARD ASSAM, BAMUNIMAIDAM, GUWAHATI, ASSAM, PIN:781021” and also
ensure that the application is received in this office on or before 27.03.2026
along with the following self-attested copies of documents and superscribed
