The Government of Assam has introduced the SAMARTH Admission Portal for Assam College Admission 2026. Through this centralized platform, students can apply online for undergraduate courses like BA, BSc, and BCom under the Four-Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUGP).
The SAMARTH Portal simplifies the admission process across universities and colleges in Assam for the academic session 2026–2027, starting from 11 April 2026.

Assam Government Fee Waiver Scheme
To provide access to the poor students of the State and to help them achieve the benefits of Higher Education, Govt. of Assam has introduced a novel scheme of getting admission through tuition fee waiver. The Scheme will be applicable to the students seeking admission into 1st Year of H.S./B.A./B.Sc./B.Com and M.A./M.Sc/M.Com courses.
The Govt. of Assam Fee waiver scheme is to be linked to SAMARTH portal. As such all the deserving students can avail fee waiver only when the students apply through the SAMARTH platform.
How to Apply for Assam College Admission (UG Courses)
Steps to Apply Online
Step 1: Scroll down and go to the Important Web Links section.
Step 2: Click on the Online Application Form link.
Step 3: Register yourself by entering basic details. Ensure that your name and other information match exactly with your Class 10 marksheet.
Step 4: Fill in all required personal and educational details carefully.
Step 5: Upload the necessary educational and supporting documents as instructed.
Step 6: Submit the application form. An acknowledgement receipt will be generated after successful submission.
Step 7: Download and take a printout of the submitted application form and acknowledgement receipt for future reference.
