Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
Candidates born between 01 July 2005 and 01 January 2010 (both dates inclusive) are eligible to apply.
The upper age limit on the date of enrollment should not exceed 22 years.
Educational Qualification
Science Stream
- Passed 10+2/Intermediate with Mathematics, Physics and English with at least 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English.
- OR Passed a 3-Year Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automobile, Computer Science, Instrumentation Technology or Information Technology) with at least 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English.
- OR Passed a 2-Year Vocational Course with Physics and Mathematics having minimum 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English.
Other Than Science Stream
- Passed 10+2/Intermediate in any stream with at least 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English.
- OR Passed a 2-Year Vocational Course with minimum 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English.
Medical Standards
- Minimum Height:
- Male: 152 cm
- Female: 152 cm
- North East & Uttarakhand Hill Region Candidates: 147 cm
- Lakshadweep Candidates: 150 cm
- Chest (Male): Minimum 77 cm with expansion of at least 5 cm.
- Chest (Female): Minimum expansion of 5 cm.
- Weight should be proportionate to height and age.
- Normal hearing ability.
- Healthy gums and minimum 14 dental points.
- Physically and mentally fit.
- Pregnant female candidates are not eligible.
- Permanent tattoos are generally not permitted except those allowed under official guidelines.
