NCHM JEE 2026: The National Council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination (NCHM JEE) is a national-level entrance test conducted for admission to the B.Sc. (Hospitality & Hotel Administration) programme offered at Institutes of Hotel Management (IHMs) affiliated with the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHM&CT). The B.Sc. (Hospitality & Hotel Administration) programme at these affiliated institutes is offered by NCHM and is recognized by Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU).
Since 2019, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has been entrusted by the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT)—an autonomous body under the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India—with the responsibility of conducting the NCHM JEE.
The National Testing Agency has released the official notification for online applications for NCHM JEE 2026. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online. As per the official notification, the NCHM JEE 2026 examination is scheduled to be held on 25 April 2026.
The National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology was established in 1982 as an autonomous body under the Ministry of Tourism to centrally regulate and manage academic programmes for the B.Sc. Hospitality & Hotel Administration and ten other structured courses. These programmes are imparted through its affiliated institutions, including 21 Central Institutes of Hotel Management, 33 State Government Institutes of Hotel Management, one Public Sector Undertaking, two PPP-run SIHMs, and 25 private Institutes of Hotel Management.

Eligibility Criteria to Apply for NCHM JEE 2026?
Educational Qualification: A
candidate should have passed 10+2 system of Senior Secondary Examination or its
equivalent with English as one of the subjects, from a recognized Educational
Board. Candidate must have passed English as a subject of study
(core/elective/functional) in the qualifying examination.
Appearing Candidates: Those
appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examination can also appear in NCHM JEE 2025 on
provisional basis. Provisional admission will stand cancelled if proof of
having passed the qualifying examination (10+2 or its equivalent) is not
submitted at the time of counselling or at the time of admission or latest by
30.09.2026.
Age Limit: There is no age
restriction for appearing in NCHM JEE as per the New Education Policy.
Physical Fitness: All qualified candidates will have to submit a physical fitness certificate of carrying out practical claims as required in course at the time of admission from a Registered Medical Practitioner in the prescribed format.
