SSC MTS Admit Card 2026: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will conduct the computer-based examination for candidates who applied for the MTS Recruitment between 26 June and 24 July 2025. The admit cards for the Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination will be released four days before the examination date. Prior to this, details regarding the exam city and exam date will be made available to candidates one to two weeks before the exam. Applicants will be able to download their admit cards from the official SSC website using the information provided in this article.

How to Download SSC MTS Admit Card 2026

 

Candidates can download the SSC MTS Admit Card 2026 by following the steps given below:

 

  • Visit the official SSC website at ssc.gov.in.
  • Click on the “Admit Card” tab on the homepage. 
  • Select your respective SSC Regional website. 
  • Click on “Call Letter for Paper-1 – MTS & Havaldar Examination 2025.” 
  • Enter your Roll Number or Registration ID. 
  • Fill in your Date of Birth and the verification code. 
  • Download the admit card and take a printout for future reference.

Computer-Based Examination

 

Candidates applying for the SSC MTS examination are required to appear for a Computer-Based Examination conducted by the Staff Selection Commission. The examination will be held in two mandatory sessions — Session-I and Session-II. Candidates must attempt both sessions; failure to appear in any session will result in disqualification.

 

Type of Questions:

The Computer-Based Examination will consist of objective-type multiple-choice questions. The question paper will be available in English, Hindi, and 13 regional languages (as specified in Annexure-XV) for Session-I and the General Awareness section of Session-II.

 

Negative Marking:

There will be no negative marking in Session-I. However, in Session-II, one mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. Candidates are advised to answer carefully.

 

Time Duration:

Each session will be of 45 minutes. Candidates eligible for scribes, as per Paragraph 8 of the official notification, will be provided 60 minutes per session.


Normalization of Marks:

If the Computer-Based Examination is conducted in multiple shifts, the marks obtained by candidates will be normalized using the formula prescribed by the Commission through Notice No. 1-1/2018-P&P-I dated 07-02-2019. The normalized scores will be used to determine the final merit list and cut-off marks.

Numerical and Mathematical Ability: It will include questions on problems relating to Integers and Whole Numbers, LCM and HCF, Decimals and Fractions, Relationship between numbers, Fundamental Arithmetic Operations and BODMAS, Percentage, Ratio and Proportions, Work and Time, Direct and inverse Proportions, Averages, Simple Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, Area and Perimeter of Basic Geometric Figures, Distance and Time, Lines and Angles, Interpretation of simple Graphs and Data, Square and Square roots etc.

 

Reasoning Ability and Problem Solving: The questions in this part intend to measure the candidates’ general learning ability. The questions will be broadly based on Alpha-Numeric Series, Coding and Decoding, Analogy, Following Directions, Similarities and Differences, Jumbling, Problem Solving and Analysis, Non-verbal Reasoning based on diagrams, Age Calculations, Calendar and Clock, etc.

General Awareness: The broad coverage of the test will be on Social Studies (History, Geography, Art and Culture, Civics, Economics), General Science and Environmental studies up to 10th Standard.

 

English Language and Comprehension: Candidates’ understanding of the basics of the English Language, its vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms and its correct usage, etc. and to test comprehension, a simple paragraph may be given and question based on the paragraph to be asked.

 

For VH candidates of 40% and above visual disability: There will be no component of Maps/ Graphs/ Diagrams/ Statistical Data in the Paper.
