Assam HSLC Result 2026:The Assam State School Education
Board (ASSEB), Division – I, formerly known as Board of Secondary Education,
Assam, successfully conducted the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC)
Examination 2026 between 10th February and 27th February 2026 across the state.
This annual examination is one of the most significant academic milestones for
Class 10 students in Assam, serving as a gateway to higher secondary education

In 2026, a total of 4,38,565 students appeared for the HSLC examination, reflecting the scale and importance of this statewide assessment. by the Assam State School Education Board can follow the steps below to check
their results online:

- Click on the link labeled “Assam HSLC Result 2026”.
- A new result page will open on your screen.
- On the webpage, you will find two input fields – Roll and Number.
- Enter your Roll Number exactly as it appears on your ASSEB admit card.
- After filling in the required details, click on the Submit button.
- Your HSLC result along with the digital mark sheet will be displayed on the screen.
- Download and take a printout of the result for future reference.

About ASSEB
The Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB) was
established under the Assam State School Education Board Act, 2024. It was
formed by merging two major educational bodies of the state — the Board of
Secondary Education, Assam and the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council.
The board officially came into existence on 13th September
2024, marked by the oath-taking ceremony of its leadership, including R. C.
Jain (Retd. IAS), who assumed office as Chairman, and Rukma Gohain Baruah, who
became the Vice-Chairman of Division II, along with other members.
Following this restructuring, the former SEBA is now recognized as ASSEB Division – I, which oversees secondary education, while the former AHSEC has been reconstituted as ASSEB Division – II, responsible for higher secondary education in Assam. This unified structure aims to streamline administration and improve the quality and efficiency of school education across the state.
