Tradesmen and Pioneer categories. This recruitment drive offers a great

Eligibility Criteria of CRPF Recruitment 2026
Citizenship: Candidates must be a citizen of India.
Age Limit:
Constable (Driver): Candidates age must be between 21 to 27
years as on 1st January 2026.
Other posts: Candidates age must be between 18 to 23 years
as on 1st January 2026.
Age Relaxation: The category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below.
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC/ MOBC: 3 years
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10th exam or equivalent exam from a recognized Board/ University.
Technical Qualification:
Driver: Should possess Heavy Transport Vehicle Driving License and should pass the driving test at the time of recruitment.
Mechanic Motor Vehicle: Possessing 02 years Industrial
Training Institutes (ITI) certificate in Mechanic Motor Vehicle recognized by
National or State Council for Vocational training or any other recognized
institution and one-year practical experience in the field of concerned trade.
OR
National or State apprenticeship certificate in Mechanic Motor Vehicle trade of three-year duration from a recognized institution and one-year practical experience in the field of concerned Trade.
Pioneer Wing:
a) One-year experience in respective trades like Masonry or
Electrician.
b) Preference will be given to those having certificate of
trade from recognized Industrial Training Institute.
Other Tradesmen posts: Must be proficient and worked in respective trades.

Selection Process of CRPF Constable Post
The recruitment process will consist of PET, PST, CBT, Trade/Skill Test, Documents Verification (DV) and Medical Examination (DME/RME).

Physical Standard Test (PST)
PST will be conducted in respect of only those candidates
who qualify the PET Stage. The PST shall
include measurement of height, chest & weight (as applicable).
a) Height:
- Male: 170 Cms(Minimum)
- Female: 157 Cms(Minimum)
- Relaxation: Few categories of candidates are allowed relaxation in height.
Candidates from NE States:
- Male: 162.5 Cms
- Female: 152.5 Cms
b) Chest: Male candidates should have following standards of
chest measurement:
Un-expended: 80 Cms and minimum expansion: 05 Cms.
Few categories of candidates are allowed relaxation in chest
measurement including ST and other candidates from NE States.
Chest measurement for female candidates will not be taken.
c) Weight: Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards.
Computer Based Test (CBT)
The Computer Based Test will consist of one objective type paper containing 100 questions carrying 100 marks, with the following composition:

There will be negative marking of 0.25 MARKS for each wrong answer.
Trade Test
a) Candidates will be shortlisted for Trade Test from the
pool of candidates qualified in CBT.
b) Trade/Skill test will be conducted through practical assessment and will be qualifying in nature. Out of 50 marks for practical Trade/Skill Test, a candidate must secure 20 marks to qualify.
