SSUHS GNM Admission 2026 – GNMEE Online Form
Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS) has released the official admission notification for the General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) courses for the academic session 2026–2027. These courses are offered under the Directorate of Health Services, Government of Assam, in both government and private GNM training institutes. To facilitate admissions, SSUHS will conduct the GNM Entrance Examination (GNMEE) 2026.

Eligibility Criteria of Assam GNM Admission 2026
Age Limit: Candidates' age must be minimum 17 years as on
31st December 2026.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess anyone of
the following educational qualification to be eligible for getting admitted to
GNM course.
👉10+2 with English and must have obtained a minimum of 40%
at the qualifying examination and English individually from any recognized
board. Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by State
Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by Central
Government. However Science is preferable. Three (core elective) subject marks
may be taken for calculating the percentage of marks excluding the marks in
English. Also, it has to be ensured the candidate has pass marks in English.
👉10+2 with English having 40% of marks in vocational ANM course from the schools recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
👉10+2 with English having 40% of marks in Vocational
Stream-Health care science from a recognized CBSE board/State/Centre.
👉Registered ANM with pass marks.
Physical Fitness: Students must be medically fit.
Citizenship: Applicant must be a citizen of India.
PRC: Permanent Resident Certificate is mandatory for admission in the Govt. Institutes of Assam.

How to Apply for Assam GNM Admission 2026
All candidates who wish to pursue GNM courses under the Government of Assam must submit their applications online. Interested and eligible female candidates can follow the steps below to complete the application process:

- Click on the “Online Application Form” link and complete the registration process.
- After registration, click again on the “Online Application Form” link and log in using your credentials.
- Fill in all required personal and educational details carefully and upload the necessary documents.
- Pay the application fee as per your category and submit the form.
- Finally, take a printout of the submitted application form for future reference.
