Eligibility Criteria of AAU Jorhat Admission 2026
Undergraduate Degree Programmes
Age Limit:
Candidates must be at least 16 years of age as on 01-08-2026 for all programmes except B.V.Sc & A.H.
Educational Qualification
B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture / Horticulture / Sericulture / Integrated B.Tech-M.Tech in Molecular Biology & Biotechnology
- Passed Higher Secondary/10+2/Intermediate examination with PCB/PCAg/BCAg from a recognized Board or University including NIOS.
- Minimum 50% aggregate marks for General/OBC/UPS candidates.
- Minimum 40% aggregate marks for SC/ST/DAC candidates.
B.Sc. (Hons) Community Science / Food Nutrition & Dietetics
- Passed Higher Secondary/10+2/Intermediate examination with PCB/PCAg/BCAg/PCHSc subjects from a recognized Board or University including NIOS.
- Minimum 50% aggregate marks for General/OBC/UPS candidates.
- Minimum 40% aggregate marks for SC/ST/DAC candidates.
Master’s Degree Programmes
Admission into Master’s Degree Programmes will be based on:
- NTA score obtained in ICAR’s AIEEA (PG) 2026-27
- OR Graduate Aptitude Test in Biotechnology (GAT-B)
AAU may also conduct a Common Entrance Test (CET) for eligible students under Faculty of Agriculture.
