NDA & NA Examination (II) 2026 Notification Out – Apply Online for 394 Vacancies

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the official notification for the National Defence Academy & Naval Academy Examination (II), 2026. Through this recruitment exam, eligible candidates will be selected for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the National Defence Academy (NDA) and Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC).

A total of 394 vacancies have been announced for the 158th NDA Course and the 120th Indian Naval Academy Course, which will commence from 01 July 2027.

Interested unmarried male and female candidates can apply online through the official UPSC website. The last date to submit the online application form is 09 June 2026.

Educational Qualification

Army Wing of National Defence Academy

Candidates must have passed 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a recognized State Education Board or University.

Air Force, Naval Wings & Naval Academy

Candidates must have passed 12th Class with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination.

Candidates appearing in the 12th examination can also apply for the NDA & NA Examination (II), 2026.

Age Limit

Only unmarried male and female candidates born not earlier than 01 January 2008 and not later than 01 January 2011 are eligible to apply.
