Preference will be given to candidates possessing Post Graduate degrees in the above-mentioned subjects.
Experience Required
Candidates must have actively worked in health, education, or child welfare-related activities for at least 7 years.

Applicants must be between 35 years and 62 years as on 01 January 2026.
Eligibility Criteria
- Should not have any record of violation of child rights or human rights.
- Should not have been convicted in any criminal case involving moral turpitude.
- Should not have been dismissed or removed from Government service.
- Should not have any involvement in child abuse, child labour, or immoral activities.
- Candidates associated with organizations receiving foreign contributions are not eligible.
- Applicants working in NGOs or Child Care Institutions leading to conflict of interest are not eligible.
- Only candidates belonging to the concerned district where vacancies exist are eligible to apply.
Salary
Selected Chairpersons, Members and Social Workers will be paid as per Mission Vatsalya Guidelines on a per-sitting basis (minimum 6 hours in a day).

- Scrutiny of applications by District Level Scrutiny Committee (DLSC).
- Shortlisting of candidates.
- Final Viva/Interview by State Level Selection Committee (SLSC).
- Police Verification.
