Educational Qualification
- Candidates must be a Graduate in any discipline from a UGC-recognized University on or before the date of advertisement.
- Applicants should possess a Diploma or Certificate in Stenography/Shorthand from a recognized ITI, Polytechnic or any recognized institution.

Selection Process
The recruitment process consists of three stages.
Stage 1: Stenography Test (100 Marks)
- Voice Test
- Shorthand Speed Test of 100 Words Per Minute (700 words)
- Computer-based Transcription Test

Stage 2: Written Examination (70 Marks)
- English Language Proficiency – 50 Marks
- Assamese Language – 20 Marks
- OMR-based written examination.
