1. Data Entry Operator

Educational Qualification
Candidates applying for both the Data Entry Operator and Copyist posts must fulfil the following educational requirements:
- Passed Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination in any stream.
- Must have completed a minimum 6-month Diploma/Certificate in Computer Application from any Government-recognized institution.

Data Entry Operator – Typing Test

Terms and Conditions
- Candidate must be a Citizen of India.
- Candidates should not be less than 18 years and not more than 40 years of age as on 21.08.2026. Upper age relaxation may be given up to 43 years for OBC/MOBC candidates and up to 45 years for SC/ST candidates as per existing Government policy.
- Candidate must submit duly self-attested documents along with the Standard Form of Application relating to educational qualifications, proof of age, address proof, experience certificate (if any), two passport-size colour photographs and valid Employment Exchange Registration Certificate.
- Both posts are purely Contractual/Temporary in nature on fixed-pay basis for a fixed time and subject to approval of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, or any other Government authority.
- For both posts, candidates must have undergone a Computer Diploma/Certificate Course of minimum 6 months duration from any Government-recognized institution.
- For the Copyist post, a Handwriting Test in both English and Assamese will be conducted. Candidates should bring a Blue Ball Pen. Typing Test including office productivity software tools on computer will be conducted for the Data Entry Operator post.
- Candidates working in any organization/office must furnish an NOC from the organization/office where they are presently working.
- The services of appointed candidates against these temporary posts may be terminated on grounds of non-performance or indiscipline at any time without any prior notice.
