Educational Qualification
Candidates applying for SSC CHSL 2026 must meet the educational qualification prescribed for the post.

SSC CHSL Selection Process 2026
The SSC CHSL examination will be conducted in two main tiers:

The Computer Knowledge Test is mandatory but qualifying in nature. Section-IV, consisting of the applicable Skill Test or Typing Test, is also qualifying in nature.

Typing Test / Skill Test
For Data Entry Operator (DEO)
The Skill Test is mandatory for DEO candidates. For specified DEO/DEO Grade 'A' posts, the required data-entry speed is 15,000 key depressions per hour. The test duration is 15 minutes.
For other DEO/DEO Grade 'A' posts, the required data-entry speed is 8,000 key depressions per hour, with a 15-minute test duration.
For LDC / JSA
Candidates applying for LDC/JSA posts are required to appear in the prescribed Typing Test. The typing test may be taken in English or Hindi according to the applicable rules.
For candidates choosing Hindi as the typing medium, the notification specifies the use of Mangal Font.

Application Correction Facility
