Eligibility Criteria
1. Service Requirement
The vacancy is intended for eligible officers belonging to the Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS) cadre.
2. Eligibility for Senior General Manager (C&O)
Senior Grade (SG) IRTS officers with 14 years but less than 17 years of Group A service will be designated as Senior General Manager (C&O), as specified in the notification.

Junior Administrative Grade (JAG)/Senior Grade (SG) IRTS officers who have completed a minimum of 9 years of Group A service will be designated as General Manager (C&O), subject to the notification's provisions.
