Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
- Applicants must be at least 30 years of age as on 20 May 2026.
Nationality
- The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
- Must be a permanent resident of the concerned village/area for which the appointment is sought.
Educational Qualification
- Must have passed HSLC (Class 10) or Matriculation from a recognized Board.
Property Requirement
- The applicant must own land or immovable property in the concerned village or area where he/she intends to be appointed as Gaon Pradhan.
Family Norms
- The applicant must not have more than two living children.
- A self-affidavit regarding the two-child norm must be submitted.

- Should not be a member of any political party.
- Must be physically fit and of sound mind.
