Candidates selected for the above posts will receive salary in the pay scale of:
- Pay Level: Academic Level-10
- Pay Scale: Rs.57,700/- to Rs.1,82,400/- per month
- Other admissible allowances as per Government rules.

Educational Qualification
Broad Speciality Departments
Candidates must possess any of the following qualifications from institutions recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC), National Board of Examinations (NBE) or Dental Council of India (DCI), as applicable:
- MD / MS / DNB / MDS in the relevant specialty.
- MS (Anatomy) or M.Sc (Medical Anatomy) with Ph.D. in Medical Anatomy for Anatomy.
- MD (Biochemistry) or M.Sc (Medical Biochemistry) with Ph.D. in Medical Biochemistry.
- MD (Physiology) or M.Sc (Medical Physiology) with Ph.D. in Medical Physiology.
Super Speciality Departments
- MD/DNB in General Medicine for Medical Super Specialities such as Cardiology, Neurology, Nephrology, Endocrinology and Medical Oncology.
- MS/DNB in General Surgery for Surgical Super Specialities including Plastic Surgery, CTVS, Neurosurgery, Urology and Paediatric Surgery.
- Candidates possessing DM/M.Ch./DNB in the relevant Super Speciality will be given preference.
