Pay Scale / Salary
Selected Field Engineers will be engaged with a remuneration in the pay scale of ₹30,000–3%–₹1,20,000, with an initial basic pay of ₹30,000 per month.
In addition to the basic pay, eligible candidates will receive Industrial DA, HRA and perks equivalent to 35% of basic pay, as per the applicable rules of POWERGRID.
Field Engineers who successfully complete each year of engagement will be eligible for an annual increment of 3% in the subsequent year. The increment will become effective from the first day of the month following completion of one year of engagement.

Applicants must be Indian Nationals and must have attained the age of 18 years or above to be eligible for the recruitment.

Selection Process
The selection process for POWERGRID Field Engineer Recruitment will primarily consist of an Interview for eligible and shortlisted candidates.
POWERGRID may conduct a screening test if required to limit the number of candidates called for the Personal Interview. The screening test will be conducted only for shortlisting/elimination purposes and its marks will not carry any weightage in the final merit.

Interview Details
