SASU Recruitment 2026 – Educational Qualification
1. Professor in Sports Management / Management
Candidates should fulfil either of the following eligibility routes:
Eligibility – A:
- An eminent scholar with a Ph.D. degree in the concerned, allied or relevant discipline.
- Evidence of high-quality published research work.
- Minimum 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.
- A total research score of 120 as prescribed under the applicable UGC criteria.
- At least 10 years of teaching experience in a University/College as Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor and/or equivalent research experience at University/National-level institutions.
- Evidence of successfully guiding doctoral candidates.
OR
Eligibility – B:
- An outstanding professional possessing a Ph.D. degree in the relevant/allied/applied discipline.
- Significant contribution to knowledge in the concerned or allied discipline.
- The contribution must be supported by documentary evidence.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience.
2. Finance & Accounts Officer (FAO)
- Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade.
- At least 15 years of experience as an Assistant Professor in Academic Level 11 and above, or 8 years of service in Academic Level 12 and above including experience as an Associate Professor, along with experience in educational administration.
- Comparable experience in a research establishment and/or other institution of higher education may also be considered.
- Alternatively, 15 years of administrative experience, of which at least 8 years should be as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post.
3. Librarian
- Master’s Degree in Library Science, Information Science or Documentation Science with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.
- At least 10 years of experience as a Librarian at any level in a University Library; or 10 years of teaching experience as Assistant/Associate Professor in Library Science; or 10 years of experience as a College Librarian.
- Evidence of innovative library services, including the integration of ICT in library services.
- A Ph.D. degree in Library Science, Information Science, Documentation, Archives and Manuscript Keeping.
