Educational Qualification
The educational qualification differs according to the post. Candidates must already possess the prescribed qualification from a recognised institution/university on or before 14 October 2026. Candidates waiting for their final examination results are not eligible.

Age Limit
The age limit is calculated as on 1 January 2027. The post-wise age range is between 18 and 40 years depending on the post.
Upper Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC-NCL: 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years for UR/EWS, 13 years for OBC-NCL and 15 years for SC/ST, subject to rules.
- Additional relaxation provisions are available for eligible Ex-Servicemen, Railway staff and certain other categories as specified in the notification.

The CBT will contain 100 objective multiple-choice questions and will generally be of 90 minutes duration. PwBD/PWD candidates eligible for the scribe facility will receive 120 minutes. There will be negative marking of 1/3 mark for every wrong answer.
Minimum qualifying marks are 40% for UR/EWS, 30% for OBC-NCL and SC, and 25% for ST candidates, subject to the provisions mentioned in the notification.
